In Nassau Kat and I took to "Blue Lagoon Island" for a day of snorkeling, relaxing and sunning. Ironically, the boat ride to the island was nearly as much fun as being on the island.

Now HERE's what I am here for... R&R. This was my view from my hammock for most of the afternoon after snorkeling.

Some beach action... or no action as it should be.. at the Lagoon. This privately owned site had something for everyone. snorkeling, swim with the dolphins or stingrays, white beaches in the lagoon and on the ocean side, live music and entertainment, seeming endless hammocks to crash in, and many hideaway areas to get away from it all.

Goodbye Blue Lagoon... very pretty.

On the way back from Nassau there was all types of activities and people. Crowded yes but still loads of fun.

The flight back...
This was just a few of the clouds that were seen as we flew around the huge storm system that delayed our flight to St Louis and spawned the many tornadoes that tore up Arkansas in January 1999

Delay in St. Louis
Having missed our connecting flight due to fog in St Louis (you couldn't see the terminal from the runway when we landed), we had a several hour layover to waste away of which part of it was spent in the Cheers bar.

We're Home Austin!
Finally made it home and Austin loved Mommy's new hat
