3/09/2009 - A Year Gone By?

Nice - It's been a year since an update and pretty much a year since any work has been done. I would like to think I spent a year being productive but that would be an overstatement. I spent most of my 'car energy' on the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe project, for better or worse. I do drive it often now though.

Nothing wonderfully new to report but I have mocked up the engine to make sure everything will work
All clearances have been checked, ring end gaps check and once a power washing and clean up is done should be ready for final assembly.
347 Stroker Build

Just a shot of the rods mocked up
All clearances were checked using plastigague

Mock up with crank, rods, oil pump, pickup and the balancer stuffed on the front

I did some minor deburring of the block - knocked down the sharp edges and cleaned up some casing flash.

Finally picked up the scattershield I wanted.
Works with TKO, 3550 or T5 - NIB from a Dead Horse member
Good deal and brand new.
