This is a basic punch list or to do list of specific tasks to accomplish for each month starting January 2007.  These are short term goals to insure constant movement on the project.

  • Install Unisteer rack and pinion 1/2007

  • Test fit engine/tranny 1/2007

  • Review/fab/puchase TKO rear mount 1/2007

  • Final build custom export brace 1/2007

  • Mark headers for rack and pinion clearance - 1/2007

  • Solder ignition switch connector back to harness - 1/2007

  • Sort under dash to EFI harness connections

  • Solder connector(s) for under dash to EFI harness

  • Route EFI fuel pump(s) power trigger run to rear of car 1/20/2007

  • Route EFI pump sensor wire to rear of car 1/20/2007

  • Test fit C&L air intake and 80mm mass air 1/2007

  • Build bracket to mount mass air 1/2007

  • Extend mass air wiring outside of engine bay 1/2007

  • Purchase Heater seal kit - 1/2007

  • Purchase heater core (O'Reillys) - 1/2007

  • Clean/paint lower dash - 1/2007

  • Purchase proper size shrink wrap for main wiring

  • Measure/source/select drive shaft for TKO 1/2007

  • Mark O2 sensor locations on headers - 1/2007

  • Mount/wire horn relay under hood by other relays 1/21/2007

  • Purchase misc EFI pigtails http://rjminjectiontech.com/?p=10  1/20/2007

    • Ignition coil - $12

    • Oxygen sensor (3 wire) - $15 x 2

    • Vehicle speed sensor - $15

    • Inertia Cut off - $8

    • Fuel injector (for clean/test) - $6

    • EGR Eliminator - $20 - Easier than tracking it all down myself

    • Harness tape $2 / 100' roll

  • Purchase Injector rebuild kit 1/20/2007

  •  


  • Purchase standard aluminum radiator

  • Purchase qty 3 four circuit fuse blocks (inside, front, rear)
  • Purchase 3/8" aluminum fuel line - May 2007
  • Purchase front AN bulkhead and other fittings - May 2007
  • Purchase O2 bungs for headers
  • Fab mounting brackets for radiator
  • Wire up harness to electric fan relay
  • Locate/install INSIDE four circuit fuse box
    • 1) O2, 2) Computer, 3) Alarm/Entry, 4) Spare
  • Locate/Install FRONT four circuit fuse box
    • 1) Fan, 2) Headlight, 3) Horn, 4) Spare
  • Run power for Fans, Headlights, and horn from relay box
  • Remove mocked engine/trans
  • Finalize steering linkage function
  • Fab TKO slave mounting bracket
  • Install O2 bungs for headers
  • Purchase O2 sensors
  • Purchase O2 extension for cutting up for integration
  • Purchase or build harness for backup lights and neutral start
  • Wire backup and neutral into existing connector
  • Finish clean up of rear under carriage
  • Make clearance for rack and pinion on headers
  • Finalize brake lines (need large end for rear on master cylinder)
  • Finalize/test line lock install
  • Final run front headlight, etc harness
  • Run left side wiring to rear
    • Left/Right speakers, trunk release, amp power trigger, defogger trigger
  • Purchase EFI fuel pump, low pressure pump, filter and surge tank - May 2007
  • Build mounting bracket for pumps and surge tank
  • Test power up without computer or other connections - low voltage??
  • Purchase B-Quite Sound deadner

  • Install B-Quite on firewall

  • Install lower dash

  • Clean/rebuild heater w/ new core and seals
  • Cut hood bracing for intake tube and supports
  • Install inside primary wiring harness

  • Purchase mixed size U Joints for drive shaft

  • Purchase wire and wire ends for electric fans

  • Install canister status bypass resistors inside car

  • Tap O2 sensor wires at computer for Air/Fuel Gauge

  • Purchase full floor pans - May 2007
  • Weld in floor pans
  • Seam seal floor pans
  • Rust proof and paint floor pans
  • Weld up and re-enforce rear shock support area
  • Cut out / repair minor rust in front of rear wheel well
  • Paint under hood and firewall
  • Install REAR four circuit fuse box
    • 1) Fuel Pump(s), 2) Stereo Amp, 3) Trunk light/power, 4) Defogger (if used)
  • Rust and panel repair rear panel and support
  • Review/install electric trunk release option
  • Test fit old exhaust for initial use

  • Fab rear muffler hangers as needed

  • Test fit inner rear 1/4 molding for wheel well mod clearance

  • Install EGR bypass resistors inside car

  • Clean/rebuild 24lb injectors ( http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=82 )

  • Purchase drive shaft loop
  • Install drive shaft loop
  • Purchase 5.0 Roller Block - April 2007
  • Purchase 347 Stroker kit - May 2007
  • Purchase TFS Cam
  • Purchase Roller Lifters
